 BERG Power Engineers, Inc. has been presented with some awards and recognitions which speak to the quality of work performed by our staff. The Southern California Edison Company nominated our company as "Minority Supplier of the Year" in 1992. This award acknowledges minority contractors for excellence in work performance.

In 1993, Mr Richard Quinbar, Director of Facilities of St. Bernardine Medical Center, has given us a letter of commendations, for the excellent workmanship provided by our staff to the work performed in the medical center facility.

In 1995, the publisher of the Manila-U.S. Times, has awarded our company the Eagle Award of Excellence to publicly recognize our outstanding achievements in the field of engineering.

In 1997, Southern California Edison nominated our company as a candidate to compete for the Asian Entrepreneur of the Year Award in the A & E category.

In 1999, Southern California Edison presented an award to BERG Power Engineers for Exemplary Performance in Strategic Sourcing.

In 2003, LADWP nominated our company for the 2003 Minority Supplier of the Year Award, sponsored by the Southern California Minority Business Development Council.

Our Mission Statement

BERG POWER ENGINEERS, INC. was established to provide engineering, design, CADD, personnel augmentation, testing, and maintenance services to both government and private industries. Three engineers from Bechtel Power Corporation established BPE with the mission of assisting clients achieve a competitive edge by providing them with quality services at competitive rates. It is our policy to attract the best technical and managerial minds in our field in order to achieve excellence in every job we perform. Our experience and expertise is supplemented by an extensive utilization of computer-aided design and drafting technology using AutoCAD and Microstation systems. BPE's genuine concern for its clients, dedication to hard work, distinguished technical credentials and impressive track record have earned the respect and confidence of its many clients. Our entire organization is dedicated and committed to one goal: Customer Satisfaction.

Company History

BERG POWER ENGINEERS, INC. has been providing engineering design, CADD, and personnel augmentation services throughout the Southern California area since 1988; the firm has repeatedly demonstrated the ability to execute complex and demanding project on extremely tight schedules and budgets. In 1992, in order to enhance its capabilities as a company, BPE started its own Field Engineering Division, which specialized in construction inspection and support, as well as engineering investigations. This allowed BPE to provide its clientele with a single source of responsibility for many electric power related projects. Today, more than a twenty years later, BERG POWER ENGINEERS, INC. still offers the same outstanding services at competative rates.
