Duties: Drafting of detailed designs and mark-ups for various engineering projects using AutoCAD and BentlyMicrostation Core and Raster software. Review rough sketches and specifications with engineers. Position: Civil Engineer Technician (1 opening)
Duties: Will perform the following duties under the direction of a licensed Civil Engineer: Provide conceptual designs during project development. Review construction drawings and blueprints to verify contract requirements and to ensure that they meet with all the federal, state and local regulations. Meet with city planning departments to obtain necessary permits and approvals. Calculate costs to determine feasibility of projects based on analysis of collected data, applying knowledge of civil engineering and construction schedules. Inspect construction sites and liaise with other engineers, architects, contractors and sub-contractors to ensure conformance to engineering plans specifications, construction, and safety standards. Prepare construction schedule in accordance with the general conditions of the project.

Duties: Prepare engineering design of various distribution and transmission power substations. Participate in all aspects of design, in detail such as development of single and three-line diagrams, insulation coordination, voltage drop calculations, short circuit and grounding calculations, physical layout and sizing of substation equipment, and cost estimate. Perform project coordination and conceptual studies. Provide engineering and design support to replace electromechanical relays with microprocessor based relays. Prepare pane elevation drawings showing all relays and devices, relay and control panels. Prepare all panel wiring diagrams and all equipment wiring diagrams such as RTU, DFT, alarm module, annunciators, circuit breakers, transformers and station services. Position: Computer Programmer (1 opening)
Duties: Convert engineering formulations from project specifications and statements of problems and procedure to create or modify computer programs. Prepares and forms diagrams to illustrate sequence of steps that program must follow and to describe input, output, and logical operations involved. Analyzes workflow chart and diagram, applying knowledge of computer capabilities and subject matter, concerned with program to resolve questions of program intent, data input, output requirements, and inclusion of internal checks and controls. Prepares and converts detailed logical flow charts to language processable by computer. Enter program codes into computer system. Input data into computer. Position: Electrical Designer (1 opening)
Duties: Prepare projects which involve new design, revamps, upgrades and modifications using software such as Microstation (Bentley), Computer Aided Design and Drafting (CADD). Prepares single line control schematic, panel elevation and wiring diagrams including preparation of bill of materials of power plant and substation projects. Prepare short circuit calculation, load flow and protective device coordination studies. Prepare design of overhead and underground distribution system. Prepare electrical design of commercial, industrial, and institutional projects. Perform close coordination and conduct meetings, as necessary, with Lead Engineers. Perform field trips, job walks and on-site meeting to identify project scope and work descriptions. Find solutions to some "design to construction problems" that may arise. Coordinate with vendors and material suppliers. Review drawings by other designers to verify correctness. Perform engineering research and study related to preparation of project design.
